this post is entirely about me
Because it was my birthday recently and being a quarter of a century old makes me feel like I should really show off the stuff I've accomplished. Which are few and thus, this is mostly about me telling myself that THEY ARE NOT LITTLE BECAUSE THEY'RE IMPORTANT TO ME. It kind of worries me that these are conversations I keep needing to have with myself.
Fair Warning: Extremely amateur photography ahead.
I guess it would also be fair to warn for many 'this is my mommy and she sincerely believes in making me happy which means letting me take pictures of her' type of pics, plus the fact that I've just discovered some of the cool things I can do with GIMP. There are eighteen (18) pictures under the cut, so bewareof my ego ye dial-up users.
Bogotá. Remember those posts where I waxed poetics (sans the actually poetic part) about this city? Yeah, still happening.

(I'm still proud of this one because this a long-exposure shot done WITHOUT A TRIPOD. It could have been so much worse.)
My mom. Who likes to have fun with balls of yarn and cute winter hats that protect her recently-shaved head. And is also very pretty.

Randomness.

And that's that. Thank you for your time, hope you enjoyed yourselfand your eyeballs aren't bleeding. I'll come back later to regale you with tales about my phone conversations with the brother, as requested by Sonam, as well as to answer some questions
misscam left for me in a meme-thing ages ago.
Love y'all lots! And please, stay safe if you're anywhere near a riot site in England. Please.

Thank you!!!!!! I couldn't believe it came out when it came out.
I shall tell her ::blows kiss::
Well, as someone who's never owned photoshop, I cannot tell you whether GIMP is better or not, however, as a perfectly amateur user who goes about it mainly by ear, it is insanely easy to use. Although, again, photoshop might be easier? My point is: being a mediocre computer user, I found GIMP a day in the park. Should be even easier for you, I guess. Um, there are tutorials that have been adapted from PS to GIMP so I'm guessing you can pretty much do the same things with both programs, I only use it for simple tweaking, but I've seen complex graphics/manips done with it, as well. I recommend it, is what I'm saying.
(I got that email and am half-way through finishing my reply. Btw, WHERE ARE YOU? I don't recall you presenting a note justifying your future absence, missy. Are you all right?)
