Show! How so awesome? I'm loving every second of this season so far. Every. Second.

Like, say, how Charlie remains awesome and I still love him with all my heart. He's catching up whereas Nick's more living in Wishful Thinking Wonderland Mode apparently, even though he probably does smell a rat as well. Charlie's so gonna be the one figuring things out, and maybe helping bring the Olivias back to where they belong? (Yah, rite!) And him and Olivia still work so well together, they're such a good team. Why did they kill off our Charlie? Why? Explain this to me.

Olivia recognized the digits of Pi and my heart skipped several beats. She's so brainy and casual about it. Love it.

Noticed this Astrid doesn't look at people's eyes while talking to them, tho she remains profoundly knowledgeable in computer science and her brain is also another powerhouse which everyone takes as a matter of course and no one makes any kind of big deal about it. She also looks cute with that little beret.

In another shallow note, Olivia's red hair works better for me than her blond version. Don't know why. Plus she can has bangs!

Milo predicted the Alt!Olivia's behavior, which is why it didn't work. I was wondering how were they going to avoid the future predicted trap corner they seemed to have backed themselves into and was sure it was going to be less than satisfactory. But it wasn't. It was clever and made sense and no one was left as lesser or dumber because of it, it was not a flaw in Milo's reasoning, it was not a miracle brought down from heaven, it was not time spent in some hyperbaric chamber: it was a logic result of incomplete information. I mean, if Milo had known Olivia was not Olivia, he would have taken into account the possibility (highly probable possibility) that she might not recognize simple signals that may not be familiar to her at all. And so Charlie got to save the day. And this is where I remembered, full force, how much I love this pair's dynamics. Why did he have to die? WHY?

It's like Milo's brain now works on a quantum level, right?

Man, Olivia will break under all the stress of this situation. I wonder if Infiltrated!Alt!Olivia will go through something similar, I get the feeling she'll bond with Peter on account of them both being from another universe and all, and maybe even get a bit emotionally attached to Walter and go from there to returning things to normal and going back to kick ass alongside Charlie. One can hope.

Pretty solid episode. Loved the plot, though how were they expecting to flush out a drug that affected brain patterns so deeply is slightly beyond me. Is this even plausible?

AVOCADOS ARE A COMMODITY IN ALT!UNIVERSE. I WOULD NOT SURVIVE THERE.

'That is still the term'
'I think we can rule Moses out as a suspect'
'Multidimensional wavelength of celestial intent'
'the hell kind of fed are you?'

CASTIEL I MISSED YOU SO MUCH.

Loved how this episode was shot, I think it highlights how we got someone else's perspective, as in not a Winchester's, for rather large chunks of it. Nice touch.

Dean's full on Dad Mode. Both with Ben on the phone and the mask moment and with Aaron. This new development in his life has not been dropped, I am proud to say.

Sam. I think he's very Sam-like, he was always the one looking at the bigger picture, always thinking of the greater good, the results. We're just not used to him doing it with Dean around. He was this cold, goal-oriented back man in Mystery Spot, and everywhere else, actually. The thing is, before, they always dealt with things that directly concerned/affected them, Must Find Dad, Must Not Go Dark Side, Must Save Dean from Hell, Must Get Dean Back from Hell, Must Prevent the Apocalypse, Must Not Become Lucifer... know what I mean? This time is just directed at other people (Must Find the Bad Guy). Results. Ends not means. Dean's the one always fixing on the details, the part where they save people and hunt things, not hunt things and save people. I just think it's so jarring because they are both more their own persons now and so Sam has no need to bend over even slightly to accommodate Dean's sensibilities and is being very forthcoming about it. There, now that I've put my thoughts into (presumably, hopefully) coherent sentences, Show can go and get them Jossed and say nope, he was possessed all along or something. Because that would be more interesting. ::eyeroll::

Wait, no. MOAR APOCALYPSE TO BE STOPPED? ::groans:: c'mon, people!

Balthazar's music tastes are a work in progress, I hope. Like maybe he's yet to try other styles, say less terrifying ones. Or maybe he just wanted to scare Cas. It scared me, I'll tell ya that.

Scene one of man's skin coming off, cue Evan covering her eyes. Scene somethingsomething of locusts coming out of cop's skull (?) further hand-to-eyes behavior.  Jeez, show, we're back to gross is scary, aren't we?

WENDIGO MASK! ::clutches heart::

I really love it when we see the boys being boys and brothers and boys, racing each other, snarking at each other, seeing silver linings and stuff. I missed this last season with all the doom and gloom and general boohooness of srs bznz.

NEWTON! HE'S GOING TO KIDNAP CAS INTO ANOTHER UNIVERSE WHERE THE WINCHESTERS WORK FOR THE VATICAN, or something. Also, is this show coding British people as not-to-be-trusted? Potential Evil? On the other side of the Winchesters and thus baddies of sorts? I mean, Bella, Crowley, Balthazar. The only one who does not fall into this category is Tamara and we never saw her again, so who really knows what became of her? I mean with an accent like that she cannot possibly up to any kind of good. Right.

Does this mean Raphael will come back in a white vessel guy who's going to have more lines and scenes and survive more than two eps?

I just love how these trapping circles are always so accommodating and place themselves so conveniently in the bad guys' very own houses. Right around where they're standing. If only all tools were that user-friendly.

Everyone's on their bloody own these days. I like it. I also like it that there's a civil war in heaven and Castiel's the one who started it. This is interesting, show. Let's focus on this, yes?

Merlin tonight!!! This one's had a very happy-making and generally satisfying season so far. Let's hope this isn't the episode that breaks the chain ::crosses fingers::
