Sometimes what people think is best and what actually is best in a situation can be completely different. I guess the secrecy lies in a need to keep control - the more people you tell, the less control over the situation you have and it can sometimes blow out of all proportion and make a bad deal a whole lot worse. But that doesn't always make it right either.
The biggest and best thing is that you've gotten it off your chest in here, cause internalising it sucks more than anything, but always know that if you ever want a rant, you've always got a Cas ready to listen (or read, or gabble at you, lol.)
